Article Research Topics

1 - Interaction Vehicle - Infrastructure Systemic understanding of vibroacoustic phenomena occuring from the source to the surrounding vehicle environment and optimization solutions to reduce generated noise and vibrations : modelling of rolling noise, tyre / pavement or wheel / rail contact, taking into account nonlinear interaction phenomena in the contact patch, optimization of low noise pavements, dynamic traffic modelling, modelling of complex vibrating sources, infrastructure / ground vibration propagation in floors and in buildings. Theme responsibles  : Philippe KLEIN (IFSTTAR), Guillaume COQUEL (RATP)

Teams  : IFSTTAR, CSTB, SNCF, PCA, ENSTA, UR Navier, UME, UTAC, LMA, RATP, CETE

2 -Interior and exterior acoustics of vehicles

Noise impacts associated with new engines, impacts of low-noise or silent vehicles on people in terms of noise emissions as safety, acoustic comfort inside vehicle, relationships between mechanical and perceptual parameters of noisy structures, passive and active materials to attenuate acoustic waves and vibrations, vibroacoustic models adapted to perception aeroacoustics vibration / sound multi-exposure.
